Luton

Carefully composed images depict the everyday emptiness of several characters. Someone misses emotions, someone is crushed by the monotony of their work and someone battles the stiffness and alienation of bourgeois parents. Everything leads to an icy awakening. The film Luton uses a sterile construction to paint a disturbing portrait of contemporary Greece floating in the beaten path and style of the stern satires of the "weird wave of Greek cinema" (Dogtooth, Attenberg).
