Talented child actor and prodigy Manuel Lozano stars in this humorous coming-of-age drama set in the 1970s, as Franco's dictatorship is coming to an end. The historical turbulence of these times are mirrored in the life of the doe-eyed 13-year-old, whose father's occupation has landed him in yet another new school, this time in Seville. A lifetime of being bullied has taught Ramon to make himself as invisible as possible, but he soon comes to realize that this solution will not help him at his new school, where the bullies are relentless. Finally fighting back, Ramon earns their respect, and begins to experiment with his newfound social standing, exploring his attraction to the beautiful Paloma, and committing an act of vandalism that will ultimately bring him face to face with a life-altering moral dilemma.
