Joe Marks (Cameron Mitchell) has robbed the National Guard armory in an attempt to boost his black-market gun sales. He has stolen enough guns, grenades and rocket launchers to outfit a small army. Every criminal is soon purchasing arms from Marks and his partners. All hell is about to break loose on the streets of Los Angeles. A special task force is formed by Agent Bill Bryant (Richard Roundtree) and Lt. James Long (Leo Fong) to combat the rise in violence due to availability of weapons from these arms dealers. The officers end up using their own brand of police procedures to end the killing sprees employing a brand of violence to equal those they hunt down. (official distributor synopsis)
