Drapp Tamás, metro-driver inherits an American salami-factory worth a hundred thousand dollars from an unknown relative abroad. Geréb, the legacy-bank's eager manager wants to prove his financial genius and his patriotism by trying to persuade the heir to keep the factory, which would produce constant extra profit for a country lacking in foreign currency. No matter how the party threatens to exclude him, how doctors try to erase his "wrong ideas" about capital, Drapp does not fulfil their expectations and keeps his old life-style.
