English Blade Water Runner Ukraine. A brilliantly shot, slow and unfortunately overstretched dystopia about a cold country, where Vasyanovych has to use a thermal camera to get a warm shot. Suggestive statement. [IFFR 2020] ()

English A painfully slow burn, but packed with an overwhelming number of creative ideas that you just can’t ignore. It felt like watching a modern-day Tarkovsky. And that thermographic camera? What a stroke of genius. Definitely not for your average viewer, but it's the kind of film that lingers in your mind long after the credits roll. Hard to believe this came out of Ukraine, but wow—hats off. The country’s landscape feels tailor-made for dystopian stories. ()
