Andrew Kötting’s warm-hearted portrait of his life in Louyre, the Pyrenean farmhouse where he spends several months a year with his wife and daughter, Eden. Eden, who suffers from a psychomotor disability, is at the heart of the film. She draws, sings along to the radio, gives others pause to reflect and to feel. Kötting meditates on isolation, the harshness of nature, death of course, and celebrates the house that accompanies their summers. A highly personal documentary rich with emotion, a beautiful and melancholy song, a “home movie” shot over several years to preserve these moments. (Festival International du Film de La Rochelle)
