On May 13th, 1988, legendary jazz trumpeter Chet Baker was found dead on the street below his hotel room in Amsterdam. Detective Lucas is charged to investigate his mysterious death. His exploration of Baker's last days takes him on a dark musical journey in which he crosses the paths of Chet's last lover Sarah, his loyal friend Simon and Doctor Feelgood, Chet's ambiguous admirer. Their testimonies reveal a colorful and complex depiction of a charming, brilliant musician, and a tormented, flawed man struggling with a complex masculine identity.
