Lara and the Beat

Lara Giwa is an heiress to a massive fortune. Salome 'Mr Beats' Fregene, Lara’s driver, moonlights as a local DJ and aspiring producer with big dreams of becoming a global star. Lara’s 27th birthday celebration promises to be the biggest society event of the year, but plans are cancelled when she and her sister Dara discover they have lost their entire inherited fortune due to tax frauds committed by their uncle. The sisters are left homeless and must move in with their childhood nanny and her family. Sal helps Lara find the courage to pursue the dream of becoming a singer, while Dara seeks to find the truth of their lost fortune.
