Los chidos

The multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and guitarist of the band The Mars Volta returns to stand behind cameras to direct this satirical and irritating fable about power relations and machismo in Latin America. Somewhere in Mexico, the González family runs the tire business “Los Chidos”, located in a privileged place where a great number of motorists circulate. The González, however, seem to be very little interested in their business, as they spend their days sitting in front of the TV and binge eating tacos. The arrival of a stranger changes the predictable routine of this family. (El Riviera Maya Film Festival)
