Ruzumny is a driver in Bnei Brak who in the evenings drives people who need money from one wealthy member of the community to the next. The aim of the visits is to get as much money as possible. Ruzumny teaches his clients to tell stories that make listeners especially generous. In the mornings Ruzumny goes back to his 12-year daughter, makes her sandwiches and takes her to school. For some reason there are only the two of them and naturally they also have a story that needs to be told. "Driver" is a glimpse into the life of orthodox jews, but from an angle we do not often see. Ruzumny and his friends play cards at night and plan their next frauds. Father and daughter go to strangers’ funerals and weddings only to eat lunch or dinner. The characters of this film live on the edge of righteous a community. (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival)
