Much to her father's relief, Lili, a spoiled, stubborn girl gets married. Her old man is hopeful that his daughter will turn her attention to Péter, her husband and he can now live his own life. However, this is not what happens. Péter does not tolerate the ways of his willful wife. Lili then decides to go on her honeymoon with Alfréd, her former suitor, who is still hopeful to become her husband. When the young woman realizes that her husband is in no hurry to bring her back, she gets into a self-inflicted accident. She is now in hospital, but her husband is not moved by the news. Then she voluntarily goes to prison. To teach her a lesson, the willful woman is taken to a mental hospital by Péter, who wants a divorce. When Lili learns that no one can legally divorce an insane person, she pretends to be a raving maniac. Péter, outraged, resorts to violence, as it were, which, however, leads to kisses and reconciliation. (official distributor synopsis)
