The Distant Tianxiong Mountain

Thirty years ago, through a long and hard journey, a group of young and middle-aged farmers from Loudi City in Hunan Province came to Luo Xiao mountains in Hunan-Kiangsi border for a living. They cut the trees down, put log rafts there. Away from the crowds, lacking due regard for precedence, without women and love, they worked during the day, while gambled at night. Life locked in cycle of dullness and boredom. Just like frying pan poured into a ladle of cold water, the arrival of the two women caused pandemonium.
