English Three stars for the genuinely eerie atmosphere and the intriguing mother-daughter relationship, but there wasn't much else to praise. The story's pace remained slow — so slow that a snail race would easily outpace it. There wasn't much plot development, but at least I had time to plan my Christmas gifts. ()
