Martin and Osa Johnson were documentary pioneers who risked their own lives when filming the untouched African wilderness in the early days of cinema. Jan Svatoš's debut tells the story of love at first sight, and the courage to face the perils of uncharted territories as well as social prejudices and artistic conventions.
