Brothers. The Final Confession

All through their lives two brothers shared everything: mother, toys, the right to be called the best, woman (one for both), a son. But an event happened, after which they never talked to each other for 40 years. A writer comes to their small provincial town in the Carpathian Mountains and gives a lecture in the local cloister about the saints and weak-minded people. An elderly man is in the audience, his name is Voytko. The writer becomes more and more absorbed in Voytko's life and meets his brother. She becomes the only link between them; the meaning of life for them is in the rivalry: who will outlive the other and deprive him of the pleasure of witnessing the other's death.
