Hands of a Murderer

Edward Woodward stars as Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective Sherlock Holmes in a showdown with his nemesis Professor Moriarty. Moriarty (Anthony Andrews) has escaped from prison and has kidnapped Holmes' brother Mycroft to break a secret code that he has been unable to crack.
