The creators have finally started to focus on making a good old detective story. The third episode was the most "Bosch-like" so far, yet I still think it had a long way to go to reach the best of the series. Although I wasn't disappointed, it still left a lot to be desired. Bosch's dissatisfaction with J. Edgar's approach and their subsequent conflicts at least remotely resembled the book it was based on. All I can do is hope that the seventh season will eventually pick up the right pace. / Lesson learned: Not every intention turns out as planned. 3*+
