By flipping the film, the sea lies above the horizon, and the sky becomes the ground below. The static nature of the clouds and the constantly moving surface of the water create a contrast between quiet existence and the rapid flow of time above. The strict separation of the world into equally large halves further emphasizes the varying density of time.
A flying bird or a sailboat are minor artefacts attracted by one or the other environment. The mirroring stands out, and the reflection of the boat on the waves becomes the dominant image. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
