The finale was a big letdown for me. I don’t mind unhappy endings, so that wasn’t the issue — it was the lack of logic in some parts. Why didn’t Dracula just kill everyone, given his preference for anonymity? And why was the beloved son buried in water, with his mother nowhere in sight? The creators spent so much time on boring details of the characters’ lives, only to rush the ending.
