Something like this - the vast majority of things stayed great in Americans, but by Philip and Elizabeth practically living their own lives, a significant part of the quality atmosphere disappeared. Additionally, I can't help but feel that the creators are turning Elizabeth into a killing machine in the sixth season. Sure, the Jennings were never good guys, but they were still human beings, while Elizabeth is becoming a Terminator. 4*
