Matrix AB (S03E02)

A situational portrait of one of the most influential men of present day in Czech Republic – a politician and a businessman of Slovak origin Andrej Babiš. The film crew followed him for several months in the spotlight and also in its shadow, and met people who provided unusual personal testimony about him which created a unique glimpse into the world of power. The camera catches the protagonist in a constant movement at various events, meetings and personal encounters with citizens. He is able to talk with homeless people and we immediately see him speak English or French to foreign diplomats. In public and in front of the camera he shows his better side, but nobody is perfect – his former party-men and opponents describe Babiš's darker side. (MFFK Febiofest)
