Plots(1)
Francisco is a mentally handicapped older man who lives in demeaning conditions, reliant on his spiteful relatives. He decides to escape the locked house in order to change his lonely life. On this pilgrimage, he frees himself of all forms of dependence, and discovers not only the beauty of nature, but also faith in his own ability, understanding and selfless friendship. Bernardo Arellano's Mexican drama develops in a slow tempo where words are mostly replaced by the mute acting of the lead protagonist, Francisco Cruzo. (Febiofest)
