Kuiba

Kuiba is a really good movie with a rather simple but well-thought-out storyline. Plus, it is only the first installment, so you have time to get to know the world it is set in and the characters. I like the animation, it is a pretty classic 2D anime affair, and one would have hardly known it was produced in China and not in Japan. I also found the characters likable, just as I liked the soundtrack. One small criticism is that it has a pretty cliched narrative. There is also second and third movie on-line, but without englisch subtitles, which is really irritating, because I want to continue the story. Anyway, I am going to be keeping a close eye on this franchise. 8/10. (2017-01-01)
