This powerful intimate drama takes place during the Continuation War between Finland and the Soviet Union at the rear of the front line where a group of soldiers and women volunteers collect the bodies of killed Finnish soldiers to bury them in their home country. Instead of bloody fighting this intimate story captures the fragility of relationships brutally marked by war. (Summer Film School)
