Plots(1)
Southern matron Eva Phillips is so cruel and vicious that she succeeds in driving her husband, wealthy mill owner Avery Phillips, to drink. She also manages to ruin the life of her sister-in-law, Carol Lee Phillips, by destroying her upcoming marriage plans to Judson Prentiss. Eva has even alienated her only ally -- her mild-mannered niece, a Yankee who came down South to visit her relative. But what goes around comes around -- so it's no surprise that those whose lives she ruined take drastic revenge on the Queen Bee. (official distributor synopsis)
