This is the story of Luke and Laurette, star-crossed lovers who come from totally different worlds. Luke is the son of a wealthy family, who's left crippled after a car accident. Loretta's a money-grubbing girl from the wrong side of the tracks. They meet, fall madly in love and, despite his family's wishes, get hitched.
