This film version of the beloved '70s sitcom finds Carol and Mike Brady, their three daughters and three sons, and trusted maid Alice living in an L.A. suburb in 1995. Even though the days of double knits and Astroturf are over, the Bradys are oblivious to the changes around them, and seventies values still reign supreme in their household. Not completely immune to the stress of the '90s, though, they have just one week to come up with $20,000 in back taxes, or lose their home to a scheming neighbor, Mr. Ditmeyer. I don't know much about the original series, so I'm not sure if such a series really existed, or if this is a parody of it, but I would lean more towards the latter because there are jokes here that are sometimes very sharp and good. Overall, it's really good and quite crazy, and it brings back memories of an interesting time and makes fun of itself.
