I watched this movie last night on TV. I wasn't expecting much from it, so I wasn't disappointed. I'd give the first star to Debra Messing because she looks good and she can act. The scecond star I would probably give for the theme, even though it was a bit nonsensical. ()
Years later, I decided to give this movie another go to understand why I rated it so low back then. Well, now I know. Turns out, I simply didn't enjoy the film, and it wasn't meant for my demographic either. When I even just lightly ponder the storyline, it feels like utter nonsense to me, maybe something that could work in some bizarre alternate dimension, but here, it falls flat. / Lesson learned: If you're buying yourself a partner, hold on to the receipt.
