The dramatically dense film takes place in workers' surrounding in the sixties. It raises the newspaper article serving as the basis for the short story to be a model: in a plastic factory fire breaks out causing enormous damages. Police investigation reveals, that the fire was caused by the mixer of Kis. Individual abuse hides behind the case. The police cannot find any human victims, yet several weeks later the corpse of an unskilled worker is found under the debris. The machinery worked on orders, regulations and rules, nobody missed the victim. (official distributor synopsis)
