License to Kill

A grieving family, whose teenage daughter was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver, struggles to find justice as they encounter bureaucratic delays in bringing the case to trial. Their only hope is young, District Attorney Martin Sawyer (Denzel Washington), who, ruling after ruling, is hard-pressed to overcome the shameless tactics the defense lawyer uses to keep his wealthy client out of jail.
