Le Pari

Bernard, a teacher in the suburbs, lives with Victoria in a new urban development. Didier, a wealthy Parisian pharmacist, is married to Murielle. One drives a rusty 205; the other, a black Mercedes. They are brothers-in-law and hate each other 's guts. Over dinner, Didier and Bernard make a bet : to stop smoking for a fortnight, until the next family get-together.
