Colourful things forbidden, laughter forbidden, chaos forbidden. Principal Schnittlich wants to keep the country's schools in check with 777 dreary rules. But that doesn't suit cheeky Maxe and his friends at all. Together with Rasputin Rumpus, the inspector of the boredom-fighting authority, they come up with a plan to stop old fuddy-duddy Schnittlich and set up the least boring school in the world. The motto is: "Everything is allowed, except boredom!" The film adaptation of Sabrina Kirschner's bestselling children's book is an amusing gem that thrills with a brilliant Max Giermann in the role of the nasty principal. (Zurich Film Festival)
