Plots(1)
Early comedy by Scottish director Bill Forsyth (GREGORYS GIRL, LOCAL HERO) which follows the goofy exploits of a gang of unemployed youths who steal and try to sell a shipment of stainless steel sinks. Of course the boys have a bit of trouble unloading their loot, and the film details their increasingly frustrated efforts to turn a sticky situation into a profitable one. Great performances from nonprofessionals are directed with Forsyths usual insightful wit. Some viewers may have trouble deciphering the Scottish accents. (official distributor synopsis)
