The illustrious filmmaker from Granada, José Val del Omar, inventor, poet and a genius ahead of his time, is an unheard-of artist who has yet to achieve the worldwide fame he deserves for his otherworldly work. An inspirational cult figure aligned, from the isolation of his homeland, with the most important world avant-garde movements, in this documentary we will travel through his life and work, as well as the long trail of his influence through unique visual documents and fascinating testimonies, such as those of those responsible for preserving his legacy, Piluca Baquero and Gonzalo Sáenz de Buruaga, and valdelomarian experts and artists such as Soleá Morente, Niño de Elche, Juan Sebastián Bollaín, María Cañas, Nonio Parejo, Pedro G.
