In 1947 Dorottya is dismissed from girl school by the nuns for her views. From this time on her fate is joined to that of the movement: railway construction, NÉKOSZ, elections with the "blue notes", critique, self-critique, participating in the excommunication of the former friend. During the Rajk suit Dorottya bears perjury against her own husband who will be arrested. The story goes on in 1951: she lives in Sztálinváros, where she meets the former friend, who, on the other hand, did not testify against her husband. The woman now breaks down and commits suicide. Her child will be taken care of by the former friend. (official distributor synopsis)
