Roman Vasyanov

Roman Vasyanov is a DOP and director. He graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. Since 2007 Roman worked in Russia’s highest acclaimed feature films, such as Hipsters (2008), Vice (2007) or Odessa (Valery Todorovsky, 2019). In 2010 he received a prize for Best Cinematography at Kinotavr Open Film Festival for Act of Nature (Alexandr Lungin, Sergey Osipyan). Since 2010, he has been working with US film studios with directors David Ayer (Fury, Suicide Squad), Doug Liman (The Wall), Jason Hall (Thank You for Your Service) and J.C. Chandor (Triple Frontier). The Dorm is his directorial debut.
