Veronika Lišková (b. 1982, Prague) graduated in cultural studies from the Humanities Faculty of Charles University and in screenwriting and script editing from Prague's Film Academy (FAMU). She cooperated with several film festivals and institutes while still a student and completed an internship with Film & Festivals magazine in London. Since 2012 she has worked at the Institute of Documentary Film where she heads up the Ex Oriente Film international training program and the East European Forum. She also writes and directs documentaries. Filmography: Touches of Dance (2010), Meantimes (2010), Until God Do Us Part (2011), and A Slightly Better World (2012). Her feature-length debut Daniel's World (2014) took the Audience Award at the Jihlava IFDF, the Student Jury Documentary Prize at Finále Plzeň FF, and was presented in the Berlinale's Panorama section.
