Ivan Ostrochovský

Graduate of the Department of Audio Visual Studies and Documentary Making at Bratislava’s Academy of Performing Arts. Founded the company Punchart films. Worked on the documentary Velvet Terrorists (2013), which won a Fedeora award at the Karlovy Vary IFF and picked up the Tagesspiegel’s viewers’ prize at the Berlinale. Directorial debut Goat was in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival, the Hong Kong International Film Festival and the Lisbon International Film Festival. The picture won the main jury prize for Best Foreign Language film at the Santa Barbara festival.
