Biography
André Turpin, born 1966 in Quebec, Canada, has worked as director of photography on numerous films that played at the Festival, including Denis Villeneuve's Maelström (2000), Incendies (2010), and Xavier Dolan's Mommy (2014). He collaborated as co-director with Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette on the shorts Ina Litovski (2012), Sept Heures Trois Fois par Année (2012), and Take Me (2014). He directed the features Zigrail (1995), Un Crabe dans la Tête (2001), which played at the Festival. Endorphine (2015) is his latest film.
