Biography
Felix Van Groeningen was born Ghent (Belgium), where he graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) with the short film 50CC (2000). In 2004, he made his feature-length debut with Steve + Sky, which was followed by With Friends Like These (2007), The Misfortunates (2009) and The Broken Circle Breakdown (2012), which earned him an Oscar nomination, a César award and awards at festivals around the world. His filmography also features films like Belgica (2016) and Beautiful Boy (2018).
