Biography

At the start of his career, Koldo Serra directed the short films Amor de madre (1999) and El tren de la bruja (2003), selected for and awarded prizes by festivals all over the world. With the second he received the Golden Méliès for Best European Fantasy Short Film, among other accolades. In feature films he has signed The Backwoods (2006), starring Gary Oldman, which competed in New Directors at the San Sebastian Festival and Gernika. The Movie (2016). In television he has directed episodes for series such as Gominolas, El comisario, Muchachada Nui, Karabudjan, La fuga, El Ministerio del Tiempo and La Casa de Papel. 70 Binladens (70 Big Ones) is his third feature film.
