Mackenzie Crook

Mackenzie Crook is a versatile actor with a wealth of stage and screen credits to his name. Well known for his successive role alongside Johnny Depp in Disney's THE PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN franchise, Mackenzie has also starred in a number of other films including Steven Spielberg's THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN: SECRETS OF THE UNICORN, SEX & DRUGS & ROCK & ROLL and FINDING NEVERLAND amongst others.

Following an unforgettable role in comedian Ricky Gervais' TV series 'The Office', other TV appearances have included the BBC's 'Accused', popular sci-fi series 'Merlin', Channel 4's successful 'Skins' and HBO's 'Game of Thrones' for Sky Atlantic.

As well as film and TV work, Mackenzie has garnered Olivier and Tony Award nominations for his stage roles, most notably in Jez Butterworth's 'Jerusalem' which he starred in during runs spanning
2009 to 2011 both in the West End and on Broadway. He has also starred in productions of 'The Recruiting Officer' at The Donmar Warehouse, 'The Seagull' at The Royal Court and in New York, 'Exonerated' and 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'.

His first book, the children's novel The Windvale Sprites was nominated for the Waterstone's Children's Book Prize.

The Weinstein Company
