Biography
Marian Marzyński was born in Warsaw in 1937. He survived World War II. He began his professional career at Polish Radio. He later worked in television, including on the program Turniej Miast (Tournament of Cities). He left the country after the events of March 1968. He lived in Denmark for a while and then moved to the United States. He specializes in documentary films, often taking on autobiographical subjects. His films include Return of the Ship, To Be, and Before the Tournament.
