Biography
Sadie Benning, daughter of experimental filmmaker James Benning, began using a toy video camera at the age of fifteen, to produce frank, funny and remarkably self-aware missives about growing up as a lesbian. Her works have been exhibited internationally at venues including the MoMA, The Whitney Museum, New York Festival of Lesbian and Gay Film and in Rotterdam.
