Dong-hun Choi

Choi Dong-hoon, born 1971 in South Korea, directed several films from his 2004 debut The Big Swindle to hits like Tazza: The High Rollers, Woochi and The Thieves. Director Choi Dong-hoon has presented highly memorable characters and a lively directing style in all of his films to date. In contrast to his previous films which were set in the present day, Assassination takes its inspiration from real historical figures and assassination attempts, in an effort to depict the difficult choices and fate of people born into an era in which the fatherland had fallen.
