Biography

Marcus DeAnda was born in Los Angeles but raised in a small border town in Texas called Presidio. He attended the University of Texas in Austin where he studied Broadcast Journalism and Radio Television and Film. He also studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City and later attended Anthony's Meindl's Actor Workshop in Los Angeles. His television credits include roles in Cougar Town, The Closer, and the Syfy film, Mandrake. His film credits include roles in K-11, directed by Jules Mann-Stewart and Viva, directed by Anna Biller. He appeared in the lead role in Monhegan Light, based on a short story by Richard Russo and directed by Joe Battaglia.
