Marlies van der Wel

Marlies van der Wel (1984) is a Dutch animator and illustrator based in Amsterdam. She graduated from the University of Art in Utrecht with the animated film BWAP! (2006). She animates for commercial interests and for her own works. She has made several video clips for Sesame Street (2014) as well as the films Protest Flatness (2011) and, most recently, Jonas and the Sea (Zeezucht, 2015).
