Biography
The UK television and film producer began his career in New York in the 1970s, when among other jobs he oversaw international aspects of the production of the classic children's program Sesame Street. He returned to London in 1980 and since then has produced numerous TV series and films, earning five BAFTA awards, three Emmy awards and an Oscar nomination.
His greatest successes to date have come about in collaboration with the screenwriter and director Richard Curtis, whose hits - Notting Hill, Love Actually and Four Weddings and a Funeral - Kenworthy produced.
His latest work as producer is The Pass, which explores the still taboo subject of football players'sexual orientation. Over three nights in the life of a Premier League player who wants to come out we discover the problems that he faces.
