Daredevil - Penny and Dime (2016) (episode)
Frank gets his ass kicked and a true comic book fan "cries". Seeing the Punisher get beaten up hurts a lot more than seeing Daredevil get beaten up. And if that wasn't enough, Elektra comes on the scene, of course with a dark past.
Daredevil - New York's Finest (2016) (episode)
Probably the two highlights of the series as a whole. An exchange of views like in a comic-book version of Heat followed by a great single-shot fight. Exactly the boost the second season of Daredevil needed.
Daredevil - Dogs to a Gunfight (2016) (episode)
The Punisher serenade continues. So far, and mainly thanks to him, considerably better than Season 1.
Daredevil - Bang (2016) (episode)
It starts pretty sharp from the get go. An unexpected gang massacre and right from the beginning a Matt vs Frank sniffing match. The best a comic book fan could expect.
Daredevil - Season 1 (2015) (season)
An interesting and ambitious attempt to create the myth of a masked hero with a patina of darkness and fatality like in The Dark Knight. It's pretty flickery in places, and in others it's a tidy series full of screenwriting shortcomings, but you can't deny the effort and the decent cast. The action is interesting, it just needs a better cameraman and editor.
Daredevil - Daredevil (2015) (episode)
A twisted finale that tries to wring the epicness of a blockbuster movie out of a series concept. And for the most part it succeeds.
Daredevil - The Ones We Leave Behind (2015) (episode)
The tricky twists and turns among the group of main villains affect everyone in Hell’s Kitchen. A very good scene with Karen, which sort of redeems her reputation as an annoying uptight bird that should have been taken down halfway through the first series.
Daredevil - The Path of the Righteous (2015) (episode)
With the exception of the last couple of minutes, nothing that would warrant watching again. Some of the characters are interesting (Fisk, Ben, Foggy), others are annoying (Karen).
Daredevil - Nelson v. Murdock (2015) (episode)
The weakest episode so far. Not much happens, we're taken back through flashbacks to the nerdy days of Matt’s college days, and this time Foggy goes a bit over the top within the current events, his emotional struggle with his estrangement from the main character is there for a story-twist rather than the real foundations of a dense narrative.
Daredevil - Speak of the Devil (2015) (episode)
A little too wild and exotic and sprawling for the pragmatic and, in comics, unusually realistic universe of a hero who gets punched in the mouth every few moments. Even so, there are a few key points worth seeing. Basically, they are two important fights.
