Happy Feet (2006)

English Pretty boring for a cartoon. I could have used a bit more cuteness, originality, and above all humor.

The Mask of Zorro (1998)

English I love the scene where the beautiful Catherine Zeta-Jones "fights" Zorro. And I love the music of this movie.

Twins (1988)

English The little jerk combined with the 100-pound virgin was pretty good. It's the story itself that's worse. Yes, a few good lines, but even that doesn't erase the fact that it's just stupid nonsense.

Georgia Rule (2007)

English Such a perfectly done movie and such a divinely creepy Lindsay that I can't give it less than 4 stars!

Life as We Know It (2010)

English It's a fact that the whole movie is basically carried by Katherine and Josh D. There were lines that made me pee myself laughing and romantic moments where I was completely entranced and would have wanted to swap bodies. It's a bit of a shame that the performances of the others weren't anything special... except for the social worker, who won me over with her one line, "Maybe... if you want to get there fast, you should go faster than the other cars." All in all, it was great to watch and I give it a well-earned 5 stars.

Love and Other Drugs (2010)

English Man, this one cracked me up :-)) The beginning was basically nothing, but once Anne Hathaway appeared on the scene, who, by the way, looked more beautiful than ever, the movie took off... in every way. I liked the dry humor underlined by really good music. Maybe next time I could do without the "lame" (and I say that very nicely) brother. The romance worked here, no question about it. The story was wonderful and perhaps a little original. A happy ending with all the trimmings and then some. I'm surprised, excited, and a little tearful. And I like it, a lot.

Cruel Intentions (1999)

English I still can't get over the "gelatinous" Selma Blair, who played the role really fantastically. Overall, the choice of actors was spot on. The film has a nice feel to it and for me, after quite a long time, a film that had me thinking "don’t end yet, movie". The story has to be taken with a grain of salt, but even that adds incredible charm to the film. Beautifully debauched... the ending maybe a little too much. I like the intrigue.

Red Eye : Vol sous haute pression (2005)

English A great "different take" on disaster in the air. I welcomed the change and the bit of originality... yes, we can call it originality in this case. For almost everything taking place in one location, I wasn't bored at all. Nicely presented and quite well acted. I'm surprised and I give it 4 stars.

The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

English A lady’s matter... with all the trimmings. Just right for fans of fashion and beautiful things. Anne Hathaway may be a little underwhelming as an actress, but next to Streep it couldn’t be otherwise. I didn't mind the predictability of the plot in this case.

Over Her Dead Body (2008)

English Actually, I was kind of creeped out by the beginning... I was looking forward to Eva and then suddenly bang. After that I couldn't really get into her anymore, so I settled for the equally great Lake Bell, who wasn't actually that fantastic here... haha. Not an interesting story, but enough for a boring afternoon. An average average.
